Meredith Hamilton is equally comfortable with a nib pen and a bottle of sepia ink as she is with advanced digital imaging tools. Her series "A Child's Introduction to..."won two Moonbeam Gold Awards, as well as two Parent's Choice Awards. For over a decade she was Art Director of Information Graphics at Newsweek, where she spearheaded the company's adoption of computer-assisted graphics. She earned an MFA in Visual Journalism at the School of Visual Arts, and an AB in Comparative Literature at Brown.
Peter Velikonja is a classically-trained oboe player; he studied in Chicago and New York and spent a Fulbright year in Gemany. An ongoing interest in experimental music led him, in time, to computers; he was Media Artist at Carnegie Mellon's School of Computer Science, then earned his PhD at Princeton, where he wrote many apps for immobile devices. He has long experience in the software industry and was a co-founder of Nellymoser Inc., an early mobile-computing company.
